So actual hard science is "out there". Yet belief in an invisible Sky Papa, reincarnation, or heaven and hell where there isn't a single shred of proof isn't "out there"? LOL
Call me crazy but I enjoy reading stuff like this. It helps me to continue to grow and mature in my spirituality. Maybe that's just me.

There is a book entitled: The God Gene: How Faith Is Hard-Wired Into Our Genes that delves into this. I have not read the book, but have read some of the findings in abbreviated articles.
i watched dr. phil yesterday, where they were highlighting the disappearance of natalee holloway who disappeared in aruba over 5 months ago, and amy bradley who vanished from a cruise ship 7 years ago.
i always assumed that these girls were raped and then murdered and they very likely could be, but the program highlighted the sex-slave trade that is growing in leaps and bounds all over the world.
i sat there and listened in shock as one guy revealed what happens to some of these girls during snuff movies.

there seems to be a lot of folks here who are bitter and want nothing to do with organized religion (understandable!
) or the belief in a god who cares about us, and has a "plan".or even anyone who has actually read and studied the bible, and understands what's going on it it.
so many just take stuff out of context looking for "mistakes" and loopholes.

You need to learn to lean on others in time of need. Just like you need to be leaned on when others need you. It's a two way street. Highly worth it I might add. No one in the KH was a true friend. They were fair weather friends. When I first started associating with "worldly" folks....I assumed they'd be just as bad as I had been taught. Wow, what a difference. They are TRUE friends. But you will only get out of a friendship what you put into one.

I guess I don't mind one way or the other which doctor I get. Having my junk looked at or squeezed by either sex isn't very "sexy" in my opinion.
